It is one of the most delicious dishes in India. Tandoori dishes are Indian meat dishes which are cooked in a clay oven.
Ingredients
• Large Chicken pieces
• 11/4 cup of Yogurt
• 2 table spoon Lime Juice
• Chopped half Onion
• 3 Dried Red Chillies
• 2 table spoon Coriander Seeds
• 2 cloves Crushed Garlic
• 1 piece Grated Ginger
• 1-2 Clove
• 2 tea spoon Garam Masala
• 2 tea spoon Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
Cooking Method:
As a first make slits in the flesh of the chicken pieces and rub lime juice, salt over them to keep aside for half an hour. Grind ginger, garlic, dried chilies, coriander seeds and clove together. Mix the paste with chili powder and garam masala (a mixture of spices includes black cumin seeds, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon and black cardamom pods).
After heating a pan sauté the garam masala and add onions and fry. Pour yogurt and stir well.
After removing the pan from fire arrange chicken pieces in a dish and pour over the yogurt mixture. Refrigerate the marinade overnight or at least for 5 hours.
Arrange the chicken on a broiler tray cook it in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes or also you can brush oil over the chicken pieces and cook in a gas stove turning over till both sides are done well.
As a last keep pouring oil and masala over the chicken pieces in between.
